Re: the elfpath newsletter!
hmmm, potential title (for something at some point anyway, yet to be determined) "Astralis", meaning "of the stars" in latin. I have thought of titling something that... not sure what yet...
love the newsletter idea. I would love to help! I love to write. keep me in the loop!

Re: the elfpath newsletter!
Maybe silly thought. But if you guys are debating about newsletters and inboxes and sites to host it on, why not try a blog for it? It even would have an archive to look up older issues.
May the Force be with you.

Re: the elfpath newsletter!
that would be a great idea actually. solves the problem by only needing to add a link to the PM or e-mail

Re: the elfpath newsletter!
Bah, apparently my internet ate up my reply.
The gist of it was as such:
A blog seems like a good idea, but I myself was thinking more along the lines of a regular newspaper layout (not the size, just layout), and not the "read article, scroll down, read next article" etc format. So if Epic agrees, the easiest output format would be a .pdf file.
That could of course still be uploaded to a blog, but just as easily on a regular site (even more easily in my case since blogs give me headaches, just building a decent-looking site is much easier for me than fiddling with a blog template XD ), or if we're desperate even on a subsection of the forum. Maybe we can even steal some hosting from the Elfpath site, though that would have to be discussed of course.
All of these ideas would still only need a link via pm or e-mail, and would have the past issues on archive.
Of course if we go for the boring "scroll down for next article" format, a blog would be easiest
The stuff in my original comment was based on the assumption that the thing had to go out by e-mail and anything else was a bonus, because in my experience that's the format internet newsletters use XD Slipped my mind that we could just skip that part altogether.

Re: the elfpath newsletter!
naww, newspaper lay-out seems like the better choice imho
btw, we still have the 'under construction' news page. i think we could transform it into a nice home for the letter ^^

If we can get in touch with whoever takes care of the site, that would be awesome
