Terms of Service

Postby Rohaa » Mon Jul 20, 2009 12:58 am

When you sign up for Elfpath, you legally agree that we can in no way be held accountable for anything you do with the information on our site, with the advice our teachers give you, or any problematic situation that may arise from either our boards, blogs or chatrooms.

When a teacher or counselor tells you to do something, you should at all times use your own judgement before deciding whether to do it or not. If you do what we tell you and something goes wrong, neither your teacher, counselor, other users, or Elfpath as a whole can be held in any way responsible or sued for money. If you have any objections to this, we suggest you walk away from our site effective immediately and refrain from using any of our services.

What we do here has the potential to radically change your life. This is not always an easy process, and change can be scary. You may have some strong reactions to this, get angry, or lose some things in your life that you cared for. Please always keep in mind that in signing up for Elfpath, you chose this. If you chose to take legal action, you will not only fail (because in joining Elfpath and joining our site, you agreed to these terms of service), but you will also harm your own growth of awareness and Elfpath's ability to help people who want it. If any problems arise, please just let our staff know, and we will work it out in a friendly and mutually respectful way.

We do not give refunds of any donations or payments made to Elfpath. There are no exceptions. Any material, artistic, written or otherwise, you post or in any other way provide to Elfpath becomes our property, and we reserve the right to use, distribute or adapt it in any way we see fit.

Children under 13 are not allowed to join for legal reasons. If you are under 13 and want to spend time at Elfpath, you must let your legal guardians know everything you do here, and get their permission. If you do not do so, you are breaking the terms of service you agreed to in joining this site, and we are not responsible for any of the consequences.

We care a great deal for all our users and students, and sincerely hope none of this legal mumbo jumbo will be necessary.

No matter how qualified or deserving you are,
you will never reach a better life
until you can imagine it for yourself,
and allow yourself to have it.
