Site Rules

Postby Rohaa » Mon Jul 20, 2009 12:56 am

There are a few rules that we expect everyone on Elfpath to adhere to. These apply to all parts of the site, including our forums and chat. If you break these rules, we reserve the right to take whatever disciplinary action we feel necessary, including the option to remove you from classes or to ban you from this site.

While we promote an open atmosphere where everyone can talk freely and without having to worry too much about regulations,we will if necessary lock threads that are out of control, delete offensive messages, and keep repeating offenders from causing more trouble. Especially on a site like this, where many sensitives share personal feelings and problems, it is very important that we work together to keep Elfpath a safe and supportive environment for all our users.

Be mature and friendly

While on Elfpath, we expect you to always act with maturity and consideration for others. Do not let yourself be drawn into arguments, do not cause or participate in drama, and keep an open mind to other people's opinions even where they differ from your own.

We will not tolerate any flame wars, rude or insulting comments, blatant aggression or gore or mature content on our site. If someone offends you, do not allow yourself to be baited into hostility but contact one of our staff through PM. We are always happy to help you sort things our or answer questions.

Do not spam

When posting on the forum, please make an effort to stay on topic. Do not unnecessarily bump threads, post the same thing over and over, make random threads in the wrong forums, or make posts without any actual content. When in chat, do not swamp the room with repeated identical messages.

Keep your signature managable

Do not put large banners or .gif images in your signature. This may make it difficult for other users to navigate the forum.

Listen to our staff

With regards to your behaviour on our site, you should always obey staff members when they tell you to not to do something or to change how you are doing it. You are welcome to disagree with them later through PM or make a thread asking about why they did something, but do not ignore what they tell you. If you feel a mistake was made on our side, can you always let us know, and we will make sure things get sorted out.

No matter how qualified or deserving you are,
you will never reach a better life
until you can imagine it for yourself,
and allow yourself to have it.
