Meta-weather is the emotions and energies going around on a global scale, and will affect everyone to some extent. It is helpful to be aware of the current meta-weather so that you are able to keep yourself from taking these sudden big waves of emotions or strong energies so personally. It helps to know that something outside of you is the cause of what you feel. When the meta-weather gets the bit crazy, it is common for students to respond with something to the effect of "I don't like it here anymore! I'm done! Bye!" What is going on in these instances is that you are becoming more sensitive and more aware, and are feeling things which are uncomfortable. That greater awareness is part of what we do here, part of the reason for coming. It means that you have stopped simply saying, "Oh, meh, just tired and grumpy today, whatever," and have started being able to tell that there are crazy energies and emotions going around. That you're feeling a bit overwhelmed is a sign that what you are learning here is working. You have ceased to be a slave to the things which life throws at you, and have a much better idea of what is going on and how to handle it. This is a thing to celebrate. And sure, when you feel overwhelmed the response is often to get away from the people and the process which have taught you to be more aware of what is going on. Thing is, it will be affecting you anyway. It's affecting the whole world. Now you have an awareness of it, and the ability to deal with it more appropriately.

Whenever there is a storm warning for meta-weather, taking these steps will help:
* Drink a little extra water. It will help clear your system. A glass or two of warm water drunk quickly helps best.

Dear friends,

Last year, around October 10, Elfpath came to you with news of the Shift, the great change in energies that our planet is currently undergoing. At that time, there was a great influx of energies hitting our planet, preparing it for a completely new period in human (and global) history. Many souls left as their time here was done, and many new ones came in to help us build this new world that we are slowly but surely heading to. A world where people are much more naturally intuitive and empathic. Where we relate to each other from a deep compassion and understanding, rather than from anger or fear. Where the energies run much stronger, infusing everything on the planet with more life and depth than ever before. Where meta-intuitive gifts such as telepathy and healing will be able to manifest much more strongly than has been possible in thousands of years. A world where we cannot rely on guides and angels anymore to show the way. We are IT. We shape our own future.

Over the last year, the new energies that came in with the Shift have been building and sinking deeper and more firmly into our planet. It has not always been an easy time for meta-intuitives around the planet. With a new influx of energies comes much change, and for those who were stuck in old patterns or attitudes but still felt called to take part in the beautiful growth of our planet, it may well have been a rocky year where opportunities you thought you wanted were shut down for you, and life pushed you into different directions. Your relationships may have been shaky, your ideas and believes may have changed and caused you some identity-crisis, and sometimes it just all seemed to be going nowhere. This has all been part of the process. The letting go of the old world energies, and bringing the new energies of the Shift into our lives.

Over the month of October and up to 11-11-11, we have started the next phase. If Oct. 2010 was the big turning point, the planting of the new energies, ...

Summer is over, and curriculum-wise things changed, we got some new intel, new exercises, new groups... so let's get started again !

Overview
Group 1 is taught by Rohaa. We already have a timeslot.

Group 2 is also taught by Rohaa, but still lack a timeslot.

The little brothers and sisters are taught by the people of Group 1. They are not orange belt yet, but are willing to work to get as fast as they can and want. They still need a timeslot for class. In this class, two people of group 1 will teach, the teachers are on a rotating schedule so you get exposed to a lot of different styles. Advantage of having so many teachers is that the little siblings can receive a lot of individual help.

Group 3 is also taught by Group 1. Group 1 holds Office Hours for the people in group 3. The idea for Office Hours is no class, no obligation to be there, but ...

Elfpath is a school, and has been since the beginning. So far, we have structured the courses in our school simply linearly: a stack of 3 month courses that added up will get you all the skills and information you need to become a competent Black Belt.

Since we have gained a lot of experience this summer working with peoeple in person rather than through chat, we had the chance to find some problems in our curriculum - places where people got stuck, or things that were not entirely clear. The new structure described here will fix a decent amount of those.

NOTE: each course consists of 11 weeks (= 2-hour class + 2-hour checkup), with a 12th week to allow for a vacation week, Q&R, Q&A or extra time, as students prefer.

Although we use a Belt System and are strongly based in skill and experience rather than knowledge, we differ from Martial Arts schools in that we do not have an open dojo where people of all ranks can come and train when they feel like it, or for as many years as they feel like. In this sense, we adopt a model more like a western school, where class attendance is expected, exercises should be done on time. Our classes are taught in a particular temporal and topical order to optmise learning, and taking in between breaks (or over-training!) may actually make your progress harder or get you stuck entirely.
