Meta-Weather

Meta-weather is the emotions and energies going around on a global scale, and will affect everyone to some extent. It is helpful to be aware of the current meta-weather so that you are able to keep yourself from taking these sudden big waves of emotions or strong energies so personally. It helps to know that something outside of you is the cause of what you feel. When the meta-weather gets the bit crazy, it is common for students to respond with something to the effect of "I don't like it here anymore! I'm done! Bye!" What is going on in these instances is that you are becoming more sensitive and more aware, and are feeling things which are uncomfortable. That greater awareness is part of what we do here, part of the reason for coming. It means that you have stopped simply saying, "Oh, meh, just tired and grumpy today, whatever," and have started being able to tell that there are crazy energies and emotions going around. That you're feeling a bit overwhelmed is a sign that what you are learning here is working. You have ceased to be a slave to the things which life throws at you, and have a much better idea of what is going on and how to handle it. This is a thing to celebrate. And sure, when you feel overwhelmed the response is often to get away from the people and the process which have taught you to be more aware of what is going on. Thing is, it will be affecting you anyway. It's affecting the whole world. Now you have an awareness of it, and the ability to deal with it more appropriately.

Whenever there is a storm warning for meta-weather, taking these steps will help:
* Drink a little extra water. It will help clear your system. A glass or two of warm water drunk quickly helps best.
* Get a little extra rest. Your body takes energy to deal with the strong energies or emotions.
* Do a little stretching every day. Your body will tend to get stiff from the tension.
* Go out and walk in the sun a little bit every day. It helps you clear and re-charge.

Remembering the following will also help:
* Don't take it personally. It's a global thing. It's not about you.
* Be gentle and understanding towards others as well as yourself. We're all feeling it and trying to deal, and it's not always easy, so people may be a bit short-tempered. Play nice.
* Refrain from making important life decisions. You will be making them based on something external instead of on what you really want.
* Stay grounded, stay centered, stay breathing. Be as aware as possible so that you don't get overwhelmed.
* Be patient. Meta-storms usually pass in a few days. Sit it out, it will pass.
And Love says, "I will, I will take care of you," to everything that is near.
