Tiger totem is about strength, power, a huge drive to get things done, no lazy, no whiny, pouncing on the things you want, sticking with it and not giving up even if it's a big task, a fierce determination, never backing down, intentionally looking for trouble and conquering it. Tiger is one of the very few who combines earth (grounding) with fire (passion, spirit).
You can see how this is useful to many of us.
So, here's a topic in honour of Tiger.
The Tiger
William Blake
Tiger Tiger. burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye.
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies.
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand, dare seize the fire?
And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat.
What dread hand? & what dread feet?
What the hammer? what the chain,
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp.
Dare its deadly terrors clasp?
When the stars threw down their spears
And watered heaven with their tears:
Did he smile His work to see?
Did he who made the lamb make thee?
Tiger Tiger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
And since we're all so very visual, lets have some pictures.

Big version here.

I personally really like this one.
Feel free everyone to add on pictures of (baby) tigers that you find and that you like, or anything else that helps us all get in touch with Tiger energies. Code for embedding images is [ img ] url [ /img ]. Youtube vids of tigers very welcome. If someone can find us the Eye of the Tiger soundrack from the Rocky movies, that'd be great.
