I had an odd dream last night.
In my dream last night. I was just dosing off. So I was in-between being conscious and unconscious. My tinnitus started acting up and sounded like many high pitched ringing sounds at the same frequency . The ringing sounds went off in this chaotic pattern. Every other pitch lowered its pitch and the others raised there pitch as this happened. When my dream happened it was rather short. All I saw was blueish gray wall of fog. It was wispy and seemed to go on forever. There was no darkness, nor was it very light out some where in the middle like dusk during a rainy day. I had the feeling the wall wanted something it never made it clear what exactly. The fog seemed to want to help me.

This sounds a lot like Alpha State of Mind. In our free intro class, we teach more on how to use this lovely tool.
It's the state where you're in between asleep and awake. In the alpha state of mind, you can hear things, feel things, taste things even or see some things--it depends on the individual on what their preferred senses are, if you're able you can work with all of them of course. When I'm in alpha state, I'm normally using my feelings and work with what I see there. Others had worked with sounds before too. I haven't been able to work with sounds much though I do hear them sometimes, it's just not my strongest point as it is with feeling and seeing.

As far as the dream goes, I agree with Luufie.
Close your eyes
Only love will guide you home
Tear down the walls and free your soul
