Sleepiness
Recently I've had this thing where I could sleep all day, or 8 hours like I'm "supposed to," or two hours and it doesn't make a difference to how tired I am (which is fairly tired). Sometimes I have moments of alertness (read: normality) but other than that I'm just feeling exhausted. I'm not sure if this is an energy thing, or just the result of my trying to do too many things at once (university, this, job starting today, homework, extra assignment for one class (which I volunteered for), NaNoWriMo (quit this until further notice), and then the things I do to amuse myself/keep from going nuts). Anyone have thoughts? Thanks.

Re: Sleepiness
It may be a combination of both an energy issue and the fact that you seem to be doing too much at once. Not sure why, but it would seem like one side of the situation coin is affecting the other, though I'm not sure how...
But this is coming from a new visitor, so I won't be surprised if you take my words with a healthy pinch of salt...

After my daughter was born, I realized that I wasn't taking this place seriously.
Now, I'm more able to, and will do so, for her sake.

Re: Sleepiness
I think she's got a combination of a lot of adrenaline going on, because of the too full schedule and the rushing around to meet deadlines, and I think when the adrenaline wears off, she has a "crash" period, where she is so completely exhausted, but she refuses to slow down, so her body is having to force her to slow down and get some rest, by causing her to sleep wherever, whenever she can grab an hour or so. This erratic schedule, though, is really not allowing her body to get the proper regenerative rest it really needs, so she continues to feel tired and exhausted, anyway.

Re: Sleepiness
It SCANs as an avoidance issue. Sleep as a way to not face stuff that wants attn. Looking at "sore spots" in your life and beginning to find ways to work thru them may help
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive back where we started
And then to know the place for the first time..
