Facelift Project: Design how Elfpath looks!

With the giant reform we have made in our course curriculum this month (we'll make a proper announcement soon), we feel it is time to give Elfpath a new look. The current design is lovely, and it has served us very well, but it's time to move on to something new and more fitting to the energies we seek to bring into the world.

So, I'm opening a Design project, for any and all of you who enjoy visuals and who would like to create the new face of Elfpath.

Anything goes, as I'm very curious how *you* see Elfpath. What colors do you feel it should have, what images, style, symbology, energies?

I'm personally leaning towards something like this or this, simple and natural, with a sunrise to represent the light of the new energies coming into our world, but visual design is not in my skillset, and I am very open to any and all ideas you guys come up with. It would be nice if we could keep our chakra buttons, though, or a version of them.

The winning design - which should be ready to be implemented by our webdev - will be awarded 50 Elfpath Credits. If people want to team up on a design, both will be awarded 30 Elfpath Credits.

I had a spurt of inspiration earlier tonight, so I whipped up an idea. It was done quickly and for the chakra buttons I just copied pasted from the current menu. I'm concerned with the energies behind it tho.

Anything can change on it. I didn't do it, but after I did that I find that it may look better wider instead of longer. I like to see it centered and the content in the white box below the chakra menu. Can change the white letters later... tho can you upload the original chakra buttons that you used, so they'd be easier to play with?

I am not a graphic designer so all I can do right now is give my 2 cents of opinion: The Chakra buttons on top are awesome in my humble opinion, so I would like them to stay .

I like Luufie's background, but personally I'd rather have the Chakra buttons not be transparent. Especially the buttons in front of the sun are barely visible. Other than that, such a sunrise is a sign of a new dawn as Rohaa said, and I like the tranquility of this particular background.

I like agewa79's second design with the cloud and sunshine very much. It serves as a constant reminder of the new dawn, with all the handy functionality of the current site intact. Just make sure the text does not get obscured . Perhaps give the letters thin black borders, or a different colour?
