Teaching style
From Elfi
Our program is unique. The skills we teach are unique. They can't be found in this form, with this effectiveness and with this depth and range, anywhere in the world. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that our teaching style is unique as well. It weaves together the experience of traditional forms with the efficiency of new methods to create a whole new approach to learning and self-exploration.

With or without a teacher
When working on your spiritual growth, you can do it by yourself, without a teacher, but it is a very long and difficult path, and you may never get there. With a teacher, however, you can go much faster and much more directly. You can compare it to a winding road up a mountain vs. a steep path straight to the top.
Meta-Intuitive Learning
The Meta-Intuitive Arts require a wholly different approach from the standard Western educational system, which focusses mostly on head knowledge, ideas, learning facts, thinking about it. If you want to learn the Meta-Intuitive Arts, the most important thing is to look inside yourself, be honest about what you find there, and be willing to change the things you don't like. Facts and thinking about it do not get you there. Navelgazing does not get you there.
Our classes are structured to give you exercises instead, which will allow you to get your own experiences with intuition and energy work.
Then, based on your own experience, you can decide what is real and what's not, what works and how it works.
Our teachers will be there to help you along the way, both with personal troubles you are struggling with and to give you methods specifically fine-tuned to your situation if you need it.
Budo tradition
In many ways, our teaching style is heavily based on the Martial Arts and budo. For example, we rank our students through a Belt system, much the same way martial artists worldwide start with a White Belt and aim to eventually master the basics and earn a Black Belt. Wearing a belt lets you know where you are at and what the steps are to the next level: it gives you a clear structure to follow and honestly evaluates your progress. Belts are only given out when earned, so that they represent a fair estimate of your skill and understanding in the meta-intuitive arts. An added advantage is that you can quickly tell the skill and experience of a fellow student
Contrary to modern Western school systems, budo is grounded in ancient tradition, in principles such as honour and discipline and respect, in being responsible for each other and looking out for each other, in practical application and practise to achieve seemingly impossible results. Whereas we do not follow the exact budo tradition, we recognise that there is much wisdom to be found in it, and we use this wisdom if and where it applies to our program. Here's how.
