Teacher levels

We train our teachers very carefully, to make sure they are up to the task of guiding you along your spiritual path. Like our Belt System shows the progression of students, our teacher levels show the proficiency and advancement of teachers.
Teaching the Meta-Intuitive is very different from teaching in regular western schools, and very different skills are required. For example, our teachers need to be able to intuitively SCAN their students to know when they are running into problems and what those problems are. They also need to truly understand the process of awakening the self well enough to know what their students are going through, and how to best lead them through it.
Teaching is the best way to learn. Therefore we offer all our students the opportunity to be trained as teachers, providing they show the skills, the maturity and the responsibility for such a position. They will remain, of course, still students in their own rights, and will continue to improve and grow.

Teacher Ranking System
Elfpath has 4 different teacher levels, based on a collection of specific teaching criteria as well as a particular Belt Level. The belt level tells you something about someone's experience with the Meta-Intuitive Arts and gives you an honest estimate of their skill and understanding. However, understanding something very well and being great at practically applying it to their own lives does not mean they are equally good at explaining it to others, or even if they have an interest in such. Teacher level shows you someone's skill and dedication to teaching others within our Elfpath Teaching style.
You can recognise the teacher level by a little icon on our belt images. These icons are Chinese symbols for the four elements: Earth, water, air and fire. Earth is the most basic one, the physical. Water is where you add a solid understanding of emotions. Air adds a proficiency with the mental and social aspects, and Fire completes the others by adding the spiritual.
TA's
Teacher's Assistants are students who have reached at least a Yellow Belt and who have expressed the desire to help out in our teaching staff. They have taken the theory part of our month-long Teaching Course (Junior) and are working on getting the practical experience.
TA's work either in pairs when teaching a class/check-up, or are supervised by an older teacher, who can help them out if they run into unfamiliar situations and coach them through it. They will help people in the Tea House who have questions or problems, and if bigger issues arise, they know who to send you on to.
Once TA's have reached their Orange Belt and have run 3 Intro Course classes and 3 Intro Course checkups by themselves, they can prove that they are ready to be a teacher in their own right by running one class entirely independently without any backup. A Senior Teacher or above will evaluate their class and judge if they can pass.
Junior Teachers
Junior Teachers must have reached at least Orange Belt, and have completed both the theoretical and practical aspects of Teaching Course (Junior) to the full satisfaction of at least one Senior Teacher or higher.
They are capable of running any and all Intro Course class or checkup independently, as they have mastered not only the information that is taught in this course, but also the process of effectively teaching this knowledge to young students. They may also counsel students individually.
Senior Teachers
A Senior Teacher has chosen to follow the [Teacher Path] in this process of going back to your Self. They have also earned at least a Green Belt, finished at least Intermediary Course, and completed both our Junior and Senior Teaching Courses.
Due to their extensive experience in meta-intuitive teaching and counseling, Senior Teachers are excellent at providing advice and support to both older students and Junior Teachers/TA's. They teach Intermediary and Advanced courses, where the basic understanding of the meta- that Junior Teachers have is not enough. Because they have chosen the Teacher Path, teaching is much more to them than just a way to learn and pass on knowledge - it's what they do. It's who they are.
Master Teachers
This is a very rare title, and not many will (want to) reach this level. It requires having chosen the [Master Path], with all the requisites and responsibilities that entails. Master Teachers must have a Black Belt, have completed both Teaching Courses, as well as at least our Advanced Course. They have much teaching and counselling experience, and have shown they are independent in plotting their course and finding new and more efficient ways of awakening.
Master Teachers are the spiritual masters who teach other teachers. They are the only ones who can teach our Teaching Course (Intro) and Teaching Course (Senior). More than understand the knowledge and the process of leading people back to through their inner blocks and screent to who they really are, Master Teachers are at the frontier of discovering new material. They are the one who go out into the meta-jungle and through trial and error and personal sacrifice plot a course that others can follow. They make what seems like a messy collection of problems into easy exercises and process.
