Diablo II (and other Blizzard games) online

Postby Gimli » Fri May 27, 2011 5:24 pm

Fellow Elfpath members,

I have recently brushed off my Diablo II single player characters again, and I was wondering whether people around here would be interested in forming a Diablo II multiplayer party, since it is much more fun when played with friends :).

If you are interested, please reply to inform us of your account name.
Unless a majority prefers another realm, I suggest we play on U.S East. My account name there is Malderon.

Regarding other Blizzard games, I would be interested in playing StarCraft and Starcraft 2 (and perhaps Warcraft 3) as well. My SC 2 name is Malderon.607.

I been playing World of Warcraft off and on. iirc, tried to play with Mel once, but couldn't find the server she uses. Haven't tried the other games due to expense though.

If I recall correctly, the European and American WoW servers are seperate. If that is the case, it is no wonder you could not find her.

Regarding expense, all Blizzard games I mentioned except SC 2 now cost around 10-15 euros a piece. Imho you get much more fun out of your money by purchasing these games than with a WoW subscription  . And in my opinion they are really thé classic titans of their respective genres.

You should still be able to find demos for SC, D2 and WC 3, those would be a good way to easily get a taste of these games without paying or pirating anything. Though they give little to no impression of the multiplayer experience, the single player experiences of all these games are awesome in their own right.
